Visiting the showroom
Bring your ideas. You do not need every finish selected to start.
Where is Toledo Design House, and what are your hours?
Visit Toledo Design House at 1280 Conant Street, Suite 500A, Maumee, OH 43537. Our showroom is open Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. We serve homeowners in Toledo, Maumee, Perrysburg, Sylvania and the surrounding area.
How do I arrange a showroom consultation?
Request a showroom consultation or call 419-219-9779. Tell us what you are planning and your preferred visit day and time. Our team will confirm the details with you.
What should I bring to choose tile or flooring?
Bring room photos, approximate measurements or plans, inspiration images, and samples of any cabinetry, countertops or other finishes you are keeping. Your preferred timing and whether you need materials only or installation help us understand the project. Bring what you have; final measurements and quantities are confirmed before the order is finalized.
Can I compare tile, flooring and other finishes together?
Yes. You can explore tile and flooring alongside countertops, sinks and fixtures at Toledo Design House. Seeing finishes together helps you compare color, texture and the transitions between rooms. Start with our tile selection and flooring options, or browse the gallery for inspiration.
Choosing tile & flooring
The right selection fits both the look of the room and the way you use it.
Can I buy materials if I already have an installer?
Yes. Toledo Design House offers material sales as well as installation services. You can purchase tile and flooring for your own installer or contractor. Bring their product requirements and quantities so we can discuss the selection and order together.
What tile projects can I shop for at Toledo Design House?
Explore custom-order tile for shower walls, shower floors, bathroom floors, kitchen backsplashes, other floors and feature walls. Each product must suit its specific application; a tile selected for one surface is not automatically suitable for another. Our tile showroom page introduces these project types.
Can the same tile be used on shower walls and floors?
Sometimes, but each surface needs a separate suitability check. Review the selected manufacturer’s recommended applications and finish before ordering. Shower walls, shower floors and bathroom floors have different requirements. Our shower tile selection guide explains what to compare for each surface.
How do I coordinate backsplash tile with my kitchen?
Start with the cabinet, countertop and flooring finishes that will remain. Compare the tile with grout colors, then consider the pattern, wall coverage and exposed edges. Bring photos showing the range, windows, outlets and ends of each wall. See our kitchen backsplash tile guide for a planning checklist.
What flooring options can I compare in the showroom?
Compare luxury vinyl plank, tile and engineered wood flooring at Toledo Design House. Tell us how each room is used, what is installed now, and whether there are moisture or unevenness concerns. Review each selected product’s room suitability, installation requirements and care. Explore our flooring showroom to start planning.
Quotes, orders & installation
Turn a good selection into a clear material and installation plan.
Does Toledo Design House offer professional installation?
Yes. Toledo Design House offers professional tile and flooring installation as well as material sales. Tell us which rooms or surfaces you are updating, the project location, existing conditions and preferred timing. We will discuss the installation requirements and confirm the scope for your project.
How do I request a tile or flooring quote?
Send a project request with the rooms or surfaces, approximate measurements if available, preferred timing, and whether you need materials only or installation. Include the product or style you are considering and any known preparation needs. Our team will contact you to discuss the details; final quantities, materials and installation scope must be confirmed.
What affects the cost of a tile or flooring project?
The selected product, total area, layout, cuts, transitions and finishing details affect the quote. If installation is needed, removal, surface or subfloor preparation, trim and access also need review. Discuss furniture or appliances that may need moving so the written scope clearly identifies what is included.
Can new tile or flooring go over the existing surface?
It depends on the selected product and the existing surface’s condition and compatibility. Share what is installed now, along with known damage, moisture or unevenness. Product requirements and site conditions must be checked before deciding whether removal or preparation is needed.
When should I order materials and schedule installation?
Choose the materials and confirm product names, sizes, finishes, quantities, availability and lead times before committing to an installation date. Coordinate delivery, any product-specific acclimation requirements and site readiness. Timing depends on the selected materials and confirmed project scope.
Have a question about your room?
Bring it to the showroom. Compare materials in person and talk through the next steps for your tile or flooring project.
