Patterned porcelain tile · Toledo Design House
MSI Zaria
Zaria makes pattern the starting point for a room. Its compact porcelain tiles combine an encaustic-inspired appearance with a matte surface, offering a different direction from large stone looks. At Toledo Design House, explore the pattern repeat, surrounding finishes and tile boundaries before deciding where the design will work best.

The collection
Know your materials.
- Material and finish
- Glazed porcelain with an encaustic-inspired pattern and a matte finish.
- Tile format
- 8 × 8 inches.
- Collection designs
- Elora, Gia, Greta, Modena, Sakura and Tessa.
- Selected product
- Elora combines beige tones in a patterned design; MSI lists it for residential floors and walls.
- Application planning
- Choose the exact tile for the intended surface. A residential floor rating does not by itself establish suitability for a shower floor.
Dimensions are nominal unless noted. Options and application requirements vary by selection. View manufacturer collection details ↗
Make it your own
Plan the whole room.
- Look at several tiles together so you can judge the full repeat. Decide whether the pattern should fill the room or define a smaller feature area.
- Bring room dimensions and mark doorways, cabinetry and exposed edges. Discuss how the pattern will start, end and meet a neighboring floor.
- Compare grout and adjacent paint with the tile's background color. A quieter surrounding palette can keep the patterned surface at the center of the design.

Before you choose
Zaria questions, answered.
Is Zaria made from cement?
No. MSI specifies porcelain. The encaustic description refers to the patterned appearance, so use the care and installation requirements for the selected porcelain product.
Can Zaria work on a floor as well as a wall?
Yes. MSI lists Elora for residential floors and walls. Bring photographs and the intended location so we can discuss the specific selection, layout and materials or installation quote.
