Palisades creates interest through the surface of the glass as well as the pattern. - Handcrafted glass mosaics developed by MSI with Oceanside Glass Tile.
- Selections
- The collection includes Citi Stax Lapis, Urban Wave Lapis, Pixie Cloud and Pixie Gold.
- Thickness
- Citi Stax Lapis is 3 mm thick; Pixie Cloud is 6 mm. Plan transitions to adjacent tile accordingly.
- Application differences
- Citi Stax Lapis is listed for residential and commercial walls, but not floors. Pixie Cloud permits residential flooring, but not commercial flooring.
- Glass character
- The installation guide describes normal handmade variation in tone, size and surface texture, including folds and bubbles.

- Compare a full pattern under the lighting you will use; small glass pieces can change noticeably between daylight and task lighting.
- Review grout and setting-material color with the glass, since the installation beneath a translucent tile can affect its appearance.
- Include exposed ends, outlets and adjoining tile thickness in the backsplash plan before the material quantity is finalized.

Can every Palisades mosaic be installed on a floor?
No. Citi Stax Lapis is not floor-rated, while Pixie Cloud lists residential floor use. Select by the exact mosaic and review any wet-area requirements separately.
Why does the setting material matter with glass?
MSI's glass installation guide explains that the color beneath translucent glass can influence the finished appearance. The selected mosaic needs compatible materials and a planned installation, not just a color choice.
