- Plank dimensions
- Nominal 9 × 48 planks with 5 mm thickness.
- Wear layer
- A 20 mil CrystaLux Ultra wear layer is listed for the collection.
- Color example
- Akadia uses creamy beige tones and brown grain. Other selections include Cranton, Austell Grove and Benton Blonde.
- Installation
- MSI's loose-lay guidance requires a smooth, flat and dry substrate. Spaces over 20 feet in any direction require perimeter adhesive or full-spread adhesive under the manufacturer's instructions.

Does loose lay mean the floor never needs adhesive?
No. MSI's instructions call for perimeter or full-spread adhesive when the space exceeds 20 feet in any direction, with additional installation requirements. Room size and site conditions must be reviewed before choosing the method.
Can Kallum cover an uneven floor without preparation?
No. The manufacturer's instructions require a flat, smooth, clean and dry substrate and address moisture testing. Existing flooring and the underlying surface need assessment before installation.
