Halverton offers a choice between a consistent long plank and a mix of lengths, each with the same generous width. That choice changes the rhythm through connected rooms. - Construction
- SPC rigid-core luxury vinyl with a Uniclic locking system for floating click installation.
- Formats
- A 9 × 72 plank or a free-length format combining 9 × 27, 9 × 45 and 9 × 72 pieces, as listed in the July 2026 specification sheet.
- Listed platform
- 10 mm thickness, a 20 mil wear layer and an attached 2 mm IXPE pad. Both plank formats use an embossed-in-register surface and Styled Edge bevel.
- Palette
- Vista HL50, Hampton HL51, Horizon HL52, Estate HL53, Vale HL54 and Hudson HL55.
- Site requirements
- The installation guide specifies temperature-controlled interiors and a floating floor free to expand and contract. Subfloor moisture and flatness still require review.

Plan the whole room.
- Compare a full-length layout with the mixed-length option on the room plan, including the sightline through connected doorways.
- Look at the shaped bevel beside existing woodwork; its outlined boards create a different effect from a less pronounced edge.
- Include fixed cabinetry, stair transitions and adjoining floor heights when discussing installation and required expansion space.

What does the free-length option include?
Daltile's current specification sheet lists 9-inch-wide planks in 27-, 45- and 72-inch lengths. This is a defined mix of sizes, distinct from the separate 9 × 72 format.
Can Halverton be installed in an unheated seasonal room?
The current installation guide excludes rooms or homes that are not temperature-controlled. It also requires moisture issues to be corrected; the vinyl floor is not a remedy for flooding or an unsuitable subfloor.
