Daltile Famed
Famed offers several ways to carry marble-inspired color through a room. Larger field tiles let the veining lead, while chevrons and penny rounds change the scale. Toledo Design House can help you coordinate those choices without assuming that a matching color gives every shape the same material or application rating.
The collection
Know your materials.
- Material distinction
- Field tile and chevron mosaics are ColorBody porcelain. Penny-round mosaics are glazed ceramic.
- Field formats
- Nominal 12 × 24 and 24 × 24 tile, offered in matte and polished finishes.
- Mosaic choices
- Nominal 3 × 6 chevron mosaics are polished; 3/4-inch penny rounds are matte.
- Palette
- Diamond FM10, Iconic FM11, Luxe FM12, Glamour FM13 and Fortune FM14 offer varied marble-inspired colors and veining.
- Surface limits
- Wet level interior floors require matte tile. Shower-floor approval is limited to the penny-round mosaic.

Are all Famed formats porcelain?
No. The field tile and chevron are porcelain, while the penny round is glazed ceramic. Review each format's thickness, finish and application when coordinating them.
Can the polished chevron be used on a shower floor?
No. Daltile's current sheet limits shower-floor use to the matte penny-round mosaic. Coordinate the chevron with an approved floor selection rather than extending it automatically.
