Natural stone tile and mixed-material mosaics · Toledo Design House

Daltile Fonté

Fonté offers the variation of natural stone within a coordinated selection of field tile and decorative shapes. A larger honed surface creates a different impression from a mixed-material picket wall. Toledo Design House can help you compare those effects and identify the appropriate finish, placement and care for your selected piece.

The collection

Know your materials.

Stone choices
Pier White M012 and Nautical Grey M013 are marble; Heather Harbor L242 is limestone.
Field tile
The current sheet includes nominal 12 × 24 field tile. Honed and polished choices depend on the stone; selected honed marble is also listed in 3 × 9.
Mosaic options
Selected colors include hexagon, herringbone, picket, rotating hexagon and double-leaf designs. Not every stone has every shape.
Pictured selection
Heather Harbor Blend DA45 is a 2 × 6 picket mosaic combining natural stone with ceramic components. It is not approved for floor use.
Care distinction
The DA45 instructions call for sealing the complete mosaic before grouting, including crackled ceramic components. Wet-wall use requires appropriate sealing and maintenance.

Dimensions are nominal unless noted. Options and application requirements vary by selection. View manufacturer collection details ↗

Make it your own

Plan the whole room.

  • Compare multiple stone pieces or mosaic sheets to judge the range of veining and color together.
  • Choose the exact material blend and finish before confirming a floor, backsplash or wet-wall application.
  • Discuss sealing, cleaning and exposed edges alongside the design so the selected surface suits your expectations.

Before you choose

Fonté questions, answered.

Is every Fonté mosaic made entirely of natural stone?

No. Some decorative blends include ceramic components. The pictured Heather Harbor Blend picket is one example, and its installation and sealing requirements apply to the complete mixed-material mosaic.

Can the pictured picket mosaic be used on a bathroom floor?

No. Heather Harbor Blend DA45 is not floor-rated. Other field tiles and mosaics have their own usage classifications, so select a floor-approved format rather than extending the wall selection onto the floor.
